Born in
Coventry England and educated at St. Mary's College, London
and The University of Alberta, Edmonton, Keith has worked
at the top levels of live theatre in Canada, including a season
at The
Stratford Festival, Ontario. There he worked with the
eminent Canadian director, Jean Gascon, and helped create
the festival's submission to the Applebaum-Hebert Royal Commission
on the Arts.
While
in Edmonton, Keith worked with John Neville OBE at Edmonton's
Citadel Theatre, and created The Phoenix Theatre. At Theatre
3, Edmonton, his award-winning premiere of Sharon Pollock's
internationally acclaimed drama, Blood Relations, earned
him one of his four entries in The Oxford Companion to Canadian
Theatre.

Keith
recently completed a well-spent decade and a half as a teacher
at Brentwood
College on Vancouver Island, where he was Director of
Fine and Performing Arts. He continues to teach both screenwriting
and public speaking for Malaspina College and as a private
mentor to emerging screenwriters.
As a commissioned
writer for Centre Film Sales and Mediabus Productions in London,
England, Keith has completed five screenplays and two film
treatments, the latest being developed for acclaimed German
actor Thomas Kretschmann (Eichmann in "Eichmann").
Keith's
sitcom series concept, "Con Jobs", has been optioned
to noted UK production company, Green Bay Media, and is currently
developing a major documentary series with Gemini Award winning
Ferns Productions (Captain Cook, Darwin).
Keith
has had five scripts optioned, and a 'story credit' on YOUNG
ALEXANDER, a feature-length production, (Kersley Enterprises).
Keith was also a series writer on TIME EXPOSURES for Chek
TV.
A dual
national since coming to this amazing country, a sports nut,
gregarious almost to the extreme, Keith is an excited mentor
to the next generation of writers.

Born in Belfast, Brian has been writing, directing and producing
theatre and film entertainment for over 30 years. He is the
author of eight stage plays for young people, eleven feature-length
screenplays and has also written extensively for radio, television,
video and new media.
Brian's first screenplay, BILLY'S RUN, was made into an independent
feature (1132 PLEASANT STREET) by Edmonton's Blue Sky Productions.
LIES LIKE TRUTH (Gumboot Productions) premiered at the 2005
Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival. DREAMS OF FLIGHT
(Gold Star Productions), a dance documentary he co-wrote with
Jason Bourque, won a 2008 Leo Award (B.C.) as Best Arts Documentary.

Brian is currently developing SOINTULA (Gumboot Productions),
a feature-length adaptation of the highly praised novel by
GG/Giller Prize nominee Bill Gaston; and FERMENTING REVOLUTION
(Asterisk Productions) a feature documentary on real beer.
He is also writing MAHASHIVRATRI (Gumboot Productions), an
hour-long documentary for Vision TV. Brian's big-budget adventure,
GOING FOR GENGHIS, is currently under option to LA-based Magic
Lamp Releasing.
Brian is perhaps best known as the founder of the world famous
Edmonton Fringe Theatre Event. Since 1982, this festival of
new and alternative theatre has grown from an audience of
7500 to an incredible 500,000+ in 2005. The artistic vision
and administrative system Brian developed for the Fringe has
been adapted in nearly every major city across Canada and
several in the USA.
In 2010, Brian will be inducted as a Member of the Order
of Canada, the country's highest civilian award, for his ongoing
contributions to the Arts in Canada.
